CentraL Massachusetts Public health training hub
Studio Eighty Seven created the brand strategy and visual identity for the Central Massachusetts Regional Public Health Training Hub, a CMRPC-hosted initiative supporting local public health departments and boards of health across Central Massachusetts.
Studio Eighty Seven partnered with the Central Massachusetts Regional Public Health Training Hub to create a brand identity that reflects its role as a trusted resource for local public health professionals. One of ten regional hubs funded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and hosted by the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission (CMRPC), the Training Hub provides standardized training, technical assistance, and field education to communities across the region, regardless of size or resources.
The brand strategy was built around four principles: consistent reliability, supportive partnership, clarity and practicality, and community-minded connection. The resulting identity translates those values into a simple visual system centered on people and support. The national public health symbol forms the foundation of the mark, supporting figures that represent the Training Hub, the professionals it serves, and ultimately the public who benefits from stronger local public health systems.
The result is an approachable, credible identity that connects the Training Hub to the broader public health system while giving it a distinct presence of its own. Designed for consistency across training materials, digital communications, presentations, and outreach, the brand reinforces the Hub’s mission to strengthen the public health workforce and help communities across Central Massachusetts confidently meet statewide standards.
