SUPPORTED MOM INItiATIVE

The Supported Mom Inititative (SMI) of Central Mass is a service based business offering support groups to new moms. Over the course of 6 weeks SMI provides a safe space for new moms to connect with each other and bond over a series of topics and discussions surrounding the both the joys and challenges encountered at any stage of pregnancy or parenthood. The brand is non-judgmental and safe, a ray of light, and supportive presence for mothers. It is the support holding up new moms’ during one of life’s most joyous and tough transitions. It is validation for the highest highs and the lowest lows. The logo illustrates a maternal figure embracing a child. The pair is then held up and supported by elegant and graceful hands. The hand-drawn elements and circular lock up are wholesome and comforting. The maternal figure’s hair is flowing symbolizing the ebb and flow of motherhood—the good and the bad.
